George, a recent widower, joins his friends for their regular poker game. When a mysterious stranger enters the scene, questions arise about his aversion to human contact and the haunting events of his wartime past. As the night unravels, the group is left to grapple with the enigma surrounding the stranger.
A man allows his life to spiral apart when he returns home from WW1 to find his fiance has passed away. The downward spiral continues until he meets a mysterious stranger who refuses to touch anyone or anything. This meeting allows him to finally realize that he needs to lean on others for support and to move on with his life.
